Answers for questions you may have...
Is there any charge for this online bidding process? At Silver Auctions there is no charge to receive a bid pass. If you do not buy anything, then your deposit is returned to you.
How do I preview the vehicles? Many cars will have photos and descriptions on our preliminary car lists. But Silver strongly encourages bidders to have someone onsite at the auction who can give them an accurate description of the car prior to the car crossing the auction block.
How soon should I contact the office after my winning bid? Immediately after winning the high bid, please call 1-800-255-4485 which goes directly to our auction office to arrange payment.
How do I pay for the vehicle when I am the winning bidder? Payment needs to be made by wire transfer on the same day or the next banking day. The vehicle will be released to a transporter once the funds are received.
If I don't have a scanner, can I take a picture of my completed bid pass contract with my smart phone and email from my phone? Yes, most smart phones have high enough resolution for us to print and read the sent form.
Can I fax the forms instead of email? Sure. Our fax number is 509-327-3059.
If I do not buy a car, when does my deposit get returned to me? Wire transfers will be returned on the 3rd banking day following the auction. Your credit card hold will stay on your card for approximately 7-10 days.
How much of a delay does the online video have compared to real-time auction? The time delay depends on your internet connection. We have noticed delays of 10-20 seconds.
Since there is a delay with the online video, how do I keep track of where the bidding is when I want to bid on a car? Good question. We strongly suggest you turn off your computer's volume and just listen to the ringman on the phone with you. The ringman on the phone with you is real time during the auction and he will work with you.
If you have additional questions call 1-800-255-4485.
