Acquired in June 2002 at a GOOD Guys Car Show with 44,658 Original Miles indicated at that time. The sales flyer on it stated the following:

HISTORY OF VEHICLE:
Purchased (new) in Huntington Beach, CA. Original owner passed suddenly with just 19,000+ miles registered on it. His widow had her own Honda Civic and left the El Camino sitting in the garage without it ever being driven further. When she died, her nephew, who was a pilot with United Airlines, acquired it from her estate. He lived in Hollister, CA and used it to commute to San Jose or San Francisco airports when needed.
In order to get it to his home he had to have it trailered up there, as all of the seals in the engine & transmission were dried up. That is when he had the new 350 Crate Engine & Turbo Transmission installed. He put on 25,000 +/- miles before he "fell" for a car that was in a Good Guys Car Show being held in the San Jose area. So he traded it to the seller (The Dent Shop - Located in Morgan Hill, CA). The owner of the Dent Shop acquired it in the spring of 2002 & proceeded to strip it down to apply the Candy Apple Red paint, the SS stripes on the hood, the 15" Corvette Rally Rims and new tires, brakes and bushings, CD player and speakers, Rhino liner, and new floor carpeting and headliner.
