Description:    1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Fuel Injected Convertible. Most outstanding on this convertible is the correct unprecedented 283 V-8 with factory fuel injection, solid lifters, and high-performance camshaft. This is Chevy's first true muscle car, and this car was built with nothing but performance in mind. Not only did the original owner select the powerhouse engine combination, what they did not select is equally as impressive. This car was ordered from the factory without any power options and radio delete. It is also equipped with dual exhaust. Clearly the original purchaser had one thing in mind, and it likely came in quarter mile increments! This Chevy, as confirmed by the data plate, is finished in the correct Matador Red with the correct red and silver interior upholstery and a power white top. The car just received a six figure off-the-frame rotisserie restoration with no corners cut. Since completion, this convertible has traveled a grand total of twenty miles. Amenities include: Power top, Deluxe interior, Functional clock, Directional signals, Deluxe heater, Cigar lighter, Side vent windows, E-Z See tinted windows, Gold license frame, Owner's manual, Spinner hubcaps, Wide whitewall tires (Correct BF Goodrich Silvertone, 7.50 by 14, 4 ply), G9old package with gold grill & gold V on trunk and hood, Front bumper cushions, Backup lamps, Super Turbo Fire highly desirable 283 ci V8 engine, 283 HP, 3" Stroke, 3 7/8 Bore, 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, Fuel injection system, Dual exhaust system, High performance cam, Solid lifters, Highly detailed engine compartment & undercarriage, Deluxe Chevy front & rear floormats, Correct GM coded hoses and clamps, Delco tar top correct battery, Dual chrome exhaust deflectors, Dual chrome side view mirrors, Rocker panel molding, Door handle finger shields. All aspects of this Chevy were attended to during restoration including the interior, which while totally correct, is likely much better than the factory ever put out. The chrome and brightwork are equally as impressive. The engine is totally correct and ready to score big at any Chevy meet, and the underside is similarly well detailed. If the ultimate Fuelie '57 Chevy is in your dreams, look no further than this phenomenal example of the best Chevy had to offer then and now.
