Description:    Original to this vehicle 428 Police Interceptor with Factory ID tag with factory medium-rise intake manifold an two later model-four barrel Holley 600 cfm carburetors. Included are the original, pristine BJ/BK carburetors. Ford factory dual-point bearings, steel timing gear/chain assembly and oil pump. 68 psi oil pressure when hot and on the highway. Original to this vehicle the Super Duty C6 Police Interceptor automatic transmission, the pinnacle of C6 production. This was just treated to a complete re-gasket and re-seal. Not a rebuild. All original clutches and bands retained. These are the very best and most durable ever made for the C6. Very strong shifts from this unmodified C6, with its ID tag. Paint is factory Red. A portion has been repainted on the hood, trunk, rear valence and tops of fenders. Original nose fiberglass never repainted. Most of the metal has never been repainted. Rear end is a 3.70:1 Ford trac-Lok. Included is the Shelby-only and original SPEC cased 3.25:1 rear end (pumpkin). Interior is completely original and un-modified. This is the first American production vehicle with a true 4-point roll-bar, with shoulder harnesses. Factory disc brakes in front, drum in rear, like new condition. DOT 5 brake fluid. Original Shelby factory Italian made steering wheel and horn button. Five matching Kelsey Hayes Mag-Star wheels. Original Owners Manual included. Very Rare. Includes much of the original documentation, the 1977 Shelby American Automobile Club Registry and several copies of the Shelby American magazine that features this vehicle in an article by the owner, titled "The Three Sisters" It details the history of this car and her two other sister 1967 GT-500's from 1969 to present. Extraordinary maintenance record, Original paperwork including vintage service records.
