Engine built by H&H Flatheads/Los Angles. 239 Flathead bored .125" over and stroked .250" to 276 cubes. Ceramic-sealed Canadian Block. Mercury crank. Clevite bearings. 3-ring high-silica/low-expansion aluminum pistons. Eldenbrock heads with 10mm long-reach plugs. Offy intake. Four barrel 390 CFM Holley. Isky Max I mild street cam. Hard intake & exhaust valve seats. Manley stainless valves. Adjustable lifters. Mallory dual point ignition. Red's headers. Smithy's glass packs. Original generator and starter converted to 12 volts. Transmission rebuilt Borg Warner three speed with overdrive. New 1954 Ford police interceptor close ration gears. Mercury clutch. All new bearings and seals. New 4.10 ring and pinion. New YnZ factory wiring harness. New EZ Eye green tint glass. Coker firestones. Electronic conversion of original Ford radio. Two-speed electric wipers. Approximately 1,000 miles since restoration in July, 2007. Easily runs at modern highway speeds.
