Description:
1969 Chevrolet Corvette Pro Street. This is a race car built like a show car. No expense was spared during its construction. Built with the intent of running 7.50's in the World's Fastest Street Car Competition. It was designed to withstand 1800+ HP. Plans changed and the car was never raced. The 1300 HP motor was de-tuned to its current, street suitable 992 HP with no power adders, on a single carburetor. This 632" BBC was built by Shafiroff and has a polished aluminum Donavon block. Polished Dart Big Chief heads, Lunati crank, & Oliver rods. TCI transmission and is a reverse gate full manual automatic TH 400 with transmission brake & 10" converter. A full D.O.M. tig welded round tube back half half supports a braced 9" Ford, 4-link, 4:11 gears, Lenco locker and Mark Williams axles. A full cage completes the purpose built interior.
