This could be the most original unmolested 1957 Ford Fairlane in the world. One family owned its entire life. Bought new at Earnhardt Ford in Tempe, Arizona in 1957. Last registered in Arizona 1976. Bought off the original owner who still resides in Tempe. Vehicle never left the owners garage from 1976 until purchased in June 2015. Original 312 Thunderbird special V8 4V motor, Cruise O Matic Automatic transmission. Power steering. Original Coral and white factory two tone. Everything on the car is original with the exception of the new radial tires and battery. Original paint (with very small areas of touch up done over 40 years ago). All mechanical work has been done on the original complete drive train. Work performed includes complete brake job, radiator boiled, complete fuel system gone thru including the fuel tank, complete transmission overhaul, new valve job, new water pump, all hoses, All new belts, plugs, rotor, wires. Four new shocks. Complete new dual exhaust, exact copy of the factory dual exhaust which could not be saved. All original chrome! Original Carb professionally rebuilt. The interior is 100% original right down to the plastic seat covers and door panels. 100% original carpet. All original gauges including the clock. Approximately 100 miles put on the car since all mechanical work performed. Work took 14 months to complete.They are only original once! Letter from the previous owner stating history.
