Description:    Chevrolet only produced 7,273 sedan deliveries in 1957 making it one of the rarest models followed by only the Nomad and Corvettes in production. This particular car was sold new to the US government for use on the Edward's Airforce base in California which explains why it was ordered without radio, clock, & very rare heater delete. Car was then sold to individual living in the Mojave Desert and last driven in 1978. The car received a body-off restoration and to the best of my knowledge, never driven. At that time, an early 327 was rebuilt and installed, along with a Powerglide and era correct Ansen floor shifter. We acquired the car in Jan. 2007. The car was stripped to bare metal and received a complete PPG Concept urethane 1957 factory color - Tropical Turquoise/ Ivory and clear coat. Rust free, straight body. Original rear bumper & trim. Front bumper is factory new re-chrome with Danchuk grille, grille bar, hood bar , & extension. New rubber, weatherstripping, and lens. Most glass replaced. Interior work was done by award winning C&B Upholstery of Spokane. We have spent 2 years on restoration & research. Over $16K in new parts, paint, & interior.
