This ’69 is just how you want to find your Muscle Car. Garage kept by the same female owner since 1973 this Lemans has been pampered and it shows. With just a single repaint and a recent convertible top this classic still shows well.
The body is in excellent condition with nice body lines on smooth panels. The paint appears to be a single repaint of the original Crystal Turquoise. This was done some time ago and the car on first glance appears like a well kept survivor with the typical stone chips and small scratches typical of a street driven car. Upon close inspection there are tiny bubbles on the quarter panel wheel lips, door corners and lower fenders. These are the typical areas, all quite small and in an older repaint don’t appear to be advancing quickly or a sign of significant issues.
The Power Convertible Top is in excellent condition and has the higher end glass rear window, not the cheap common plastic one. The top was recently replaced and fits very well.
Inside the interior looks great in the factory Parchment with Black trim. The Factory Bucket Seats have recent upholstery that fits well with nice comfortable seat buns. The carpet too was recently replaced and looks really nice.
Under the hood the 350 still appears much as it did 47 years ago when it was new. The factory air cleaner, valve cover breathers, exhaust manifolds, etc are still in place and in good condition. The engine fires up easily and runs very well. It has plenty of torque and the car really responds to mild inputs of throttle. This car has been regularly maintained by a professional mechanic. The power brake booster and wiper motor were recently replaced. With a reported 99k miles on the clock and all the stock goodies still in place is a testament to the care that was taken with this car.
This car drives just as well as it looks. The steering is nice & tight thanks to a rebuilt steering box from Redhead Steering. The brakes respond quickly making this one a confident driver for all members of your family.
